Wednesday September 20, 2017 - The effect of HRT on crosssdressing

Below is an old article (2009) about a Doctor's thoughts on HRT and its impact. I found this article very enlightening because it relates to what is happening to me.

I always thought that once I started HRT, it was my last step toward womanhood and 24/7 presenting. I spent 6 years getting ready by losing weight (keeping it off), electrology (4 years) and feeling comfortable presenting as a feminine boy.

I figured I would become attracted to men and have a boyfriend.

To my surprise, this did not happen. Instead, I found a happiness, and calmness that that came with an elimination of the dysphoria and a need to present female. I still do, but only once in a while.

I now enjoy presenting as a male, for the first time. I wish my Dad was alive to see his wish that his oldest son now enjoys buying male clothes and looking good in a suit jacket with matching shirt and tie. I now own 5 pair on men's shoes. I NEVER owned more that 2 pair at once.

I enjoy my new body and overall look. The drive to buy and wear female clothes is gone and my desire to be a 24/7 woman is not there. I still like to dress and shop. But not nearly as often and the drive is not there. I can know spend more time on my business, which is very busy and moving in a very good direction.

I have wondered, if I stopped HRT, would I return to the dysphoria and anxiety?

This article discusses is issue with two case studies.

Thursday September 14, 2017 - 15 month HRT results

Below are my current measurements and the change since last month. The picture is followed by an explanation and then a table showing the monthly changes since I began HRT,  on June 10, 2016.

The above chart shows my current measurements and the changes over last month.

Only two areas had a slight change, above my breast and from my belly button down.  My belly area, above my breast and my hips grew, which is good. My thighs were slightly smaller.

The growth in the above the breast area could be reflective of a filling out and slight change in shape. his could be one of the reasons why I felt I looked more feminine and still do, the other day.

Some of these measurement changes could be due to poor consistency when measuring. However the longer term trends which show in the table below are consistent.

Thursday September 7, 2017 - Presenting female today.

Today, I felt like presenting female. I was feeling pretty today, so I dressed in a cute grey leopard top with grey skinny jeans and a grey/black pair of ballerina style shoes.

My nail glue was dried out, so I could not put on any earrings. Then I went back into my old jewelry and added a pair of greyish blue clip-ons.

Wednesday September 6, 2017 - Transwoman enrolling in woman only college

As a former College Professor of the "brother" school of Spelman College, this is very good news.

Transgender students find open door at more women's colleges

WELLESLEY, Mass. (AP) - Until last year, Ninotska Love would have been barred from attending Wellesley College. She's an accomplished student who has persevered through hardship, but under longstanding rules, the college would have rejected her because she was assigned at birth as a boy. Now the rules have changed.

Tuesday September 5, 2017 - Bra cup sizes

Yesterday, I decided to go bra shopping at a few local thrift stores. I was not successful because of limited supply. Girl, there were so many shoppers in the stores this weekend.

Meanwhile, this may seem obvious but I continued playing around with my bras. Last week, I learned about using the bra straps.

Yesterday, I noticed the important of the width of the bra cup and not just the depth of the cup. I always thought that as the cup size increased, the cup's depth got bigger to handle the increased breast size.

But I noticed that the cup width is important to me for a good fit. I think it depends on each person, whether, the depth is more than the width. Even though the bra band remains the same.

I have significantly increased my bra cup size over the past 15 months.

So I went back and put on a few 36C bras and noticed that the smaller width of the cups created an opening gap between the bra band and my skin at the edges of the cups. The smaller cups can not cover me and causes the bar band to fits off my skin.

Its hard for me to find 36D cup bras at the thrift store. But I need to find bras that have a wider cup or a cup that provides more coverage on the outer edge. This will keep the bra band down against my body. Below is one of my two 36D bras. The cups are much wider and provides me both coverage and much better support.

I am wondering if I can find a 36C bra that have a wider cup and use the bra straps to keep from overflowing the top (muffin top). I am going to shop and see if I can find a few to try on.
