    I have a friend who transitioned in her late 60's! So age is not a gender limit.

    As much as I would like to believe that age isn't an essential element, I simply can't convince myself that this is true. Recently I've been looking at photos of myself through the years. The photos from the late teen to early thirties period all show a face with could easily be transformed. Even a momentary glance at a mirror this A.M. reveals just the opposite. I wish I could suspend reality and say age doesn't matter, but I am simply not that gullible.
