Saturday September 30, 2017 - Friday was a busy day.

My phone broke yesterday morning and it messed my whole day up. It did not physical brake. It just died because I maxed out the memory, so it was dropping calls and running too slow. I had been working with it for months, but my tricks no longer worked.

I had to buy a new phone, but I hate paying more for my phone than my computer. By the time I found the phone I wanted, transferred all my contact and set the new phone up, I was way behind in my work. So I missed publishing my post yesterday.

I went shopping Thursday for bras, panties and stretch T-shirts. I did find two colorful regular bras at the thrift store, but both had wrinkled cups. I suspect those wrinkles were from washing and drying the bra incorrectly. (SEE: How to properly care for your bra).

I went to two Goodwill Stores and found 1 nice T-shirt. I like buying Extra Small or Petite Small. These tops have already been stretched from previous use and the smaller tops still have enough compression for me. I saw many Small to Large sizes, but like bras, I need to take my time and find the right one.

I am just adding to my collection, so I can be patient.

Finally, I could not figure out my next move on panties. I use to like to buy the same style in multiple colors. The last change I made was before the 2008 economic collapse. I bought Victoria Secret's Emma style. I am not going to pay that much money again. So I am going to need more time to hunt for a new style at a store like Kolhs.

Today, I am going to put in a full day at the office. I am behind in my schedule. So I will hunt for a new panty collection later.

Thursday September 28, 2017 - Going Shopping

I have a busy day. But I am going to take out some time to go shopping. I need to upgrade four areas in my wardrobe:

  1. Some new sports bras. My current ones are looking old and tattered. Some of them are stretched and no longer hold me in like they us to. The newer one will provide more support.
  2. Always looking for cute 36D bras
  3. Need a few more tight stretch T-Shirts made by Nike or other sports apparel firms. They help me when presenting as a male.
  4. New panties. My current one are getting old and tattered. I like buying the same type but in different colors that match my bras (both regular and sports).
I will let you know what I find. Next Thursday is my quarterly Dr. appointment.

Tuesday September 26, 2017 - This reminds me of my youth

I found this set of pictures from a young transgirl. It reminds me of when I was young and trying on my sister's or mother's clothes.

Do you remember those days. Look how far society. Posting pictures on the internet.

I am happy for her and she seems happy.

Sunday September 24, 2017 - My workout

Wow, it has been awhile since I worked out and it showed. I had been working out 3/4 days a week since March 2010. But I stopped about 1 year ago to work on my diabetes and start my HRT. After about 6 months on HRT, I stopped going to the gym.

I definitely male failed, but I did not care. I stopped at the gas station to get a free cup of ice water. It was crowded around the cashier. As I walked by the crowd, this guy looked me up and down and watched me as I walked to the soda fountain. No one else gave me a second look.

I has no issues in the gym as I still use the men's dressing room.

I started with 10 minutes on the stairmaster. I use to complete 45 minutes at level 10. Today, 10 minutes at level 8 had we sweating.

I moved to the 10 station 30-minute weight system. I had not done this before, so I used just 55 lbs and completed 12 reps per machine.

Finally, I completed 30 minutes on the elliptical machine. I use to complete 60 to 180 minutes on the elliptical machine at a level 10. I used Level 8 today.

I felt really good, the rest of the day. I am going to slowly build back up and go 3 days a week.

Saturday September 23, 2017 - Back to the gym

This morning I am going back to the gym. Its been months, and I need to get back to working out. I would like to lose some weight (about 10 lbs). But I also want to see what long-term cardio and weight lifting will do for my glucose levels and overall health.

I can still get into my size 8/10 clothes, but they are tight is some ares due to either HRT growth or too many net calories.

I suspect I will lose some breast size (boo), but would like my measurements to be in the mid to low 30' with my breast line at 40"+.

Today is a test to see how out-of-shape I am. I will not overdue it. Below is a picture of me on September 25, 2016 and today (September 23, 2017). It's the same outfit.

Friday September 22, 2017 - Bra shopping

Yesterday was a very busy day for me. But I took some time to shop for some additional bras. I only have two 36D bras and I need some more.

I found and bought 2 bras yesterday, while in boy mode. The mode I am in, no longer bothers me when shopping for male or female clothes. Who cares, I will not see these people again. Also people are so busy on their technology to worry about what I am buying.

Only when in girl mode and buying something pretty, will another woman take notice and compliment me. The clerk just wants to sell items. If they make a comment about a "guy" buying a feminine item, I just ignore the comment and pay.

For example, the clerk might say, ".... is this for your wife, I think she will like it." My response is ".... How much is this item again?"

I like this bra because of the color and the pretty butterfly print. The cups have a lower cut which exposes more breasts and would work well with a top/dress that has a lower neckline. This bra cost $3.49 at the thrift store.
This is a pretty feminine bra with the pink bows at the base of the strap. I like the black and pink flower print. The cups provide more coverage. I will wear this under tops/dresses with a higher neckline. This bra cost $4.49 at the same thrift store.

I found a few solid color bras in my size, but I like colorful, pretty and feminine bras. I know I will need a white and black solid color bra, but they need to have lace on them. I have not found one of those yet.

Wednesday September 20, 2017 - The effect of HRT on crosssdressing

Below is an old article (2009) about a Doctor's thoughts on HRT and its impact. I found this article very enlightening because it relates to what is happening to me.

I always thought that once I started HRT, it was my last step toward womanhood and 24/7 presenting. I spent 6 years getting ready by losing weight (keeping it off), electrology (4 years) and feeling comfortable presenting as a feminine boy.

I figured I would become attracted to men and have a boyfriend.

To my surprise, this did not happen. Instead, I found a happiness, and calmness that that came with an elimination of the dysphoria and a need to present female. I still do, but only once in a while.

I now enjoy presenting as a male, for the first time. I wish my Dad was alive to see his wish that his oldest son now enjoys buying male clothes and looking good in a suit jacket with matching shirt and tie. I now own 5 pair on men's shoes. I NEVER owned more that 2 pair at once.

I enjoy my new body and overall look. The drive to buy and wear female clothes is gone and my desire to be a 24/7 woman is not there. I still like to dress and shop. But not nearly as often and the drive is not there. I can know spend more time on my business, which is very busy and moving in a very good direction.

I have wondered, if I stopped HRT, would I return to the dysphoria and anxiety?

This article discusses is issue with two case studies.

Monday September 18, 2017 - Male Fail

This morning I had an important business meeting. So I was I boy mode. Waiting in the lobby, one of my associates commented on how I must be working out because my "upper body" looked more defined.

This was an interesting comment because I saw this same person Saturday, during a property inspection. On Saturday, I wore my sports bra and tight T-shirt, under a shirt and sweater. Today, I did not have a clean tight T-shirt to wear.

So, I must be reaching a point where a sports bra alone does not work while in boy mode. I must always wear a tight T-shirt, to keep be from failing as a male while in boy mode.

Sunday September 17 - , 2017 - Mood swings on HRT

Today is a down day for me. Its cloudy, overcast and I do not feel very feminine today. My body feels dead. It.s part of a cycle I seem to be go thru. Not like a woman's menstrual cycle but like my dsyphoria cycle during my pre-HRT days.

I use to have strong and weak periods of gender dsyphoria.  My crossdressing desires moved along with my dsyphoria.

Now its more of strong vs weak femininity day. 10 days ago, I wrote a post about that day being a "strong" feminine day, as I presented female. Today is a "weak" feminine day. I feel "blah" and not very attractive.

Part of this mood maybe due to a tremendous amount of work and stress that I am under. Its going to be difficult to post every day, for the next month. I just took on two large assignments with short deadlines.

It's been a few years since I took on this much work at one time. 20 years ago, it was no problem, but now at 61, I will see.

I remember when my Mom would have these days in which she would go out and pamper herself.

I may present more days as a female, in an attempt to reduce the stress level. I may even go to my electrologist for a cleanup appointment. I still need to shave off a few remaining hair whiskers every 7 to 10 days.

Maybe a nice pedicure and shopping might help. Plus I am determined to get back into the gym. Even, if its just a couple of days a week for about 1 hour.

I will keep you posted over the next 30-45 days of this stressful work period.

Saturday September 16, 2017 - Congressional bill to protect Transgender military personnel.

HRC Hails Introduction of Bill Protecting Transgender Troops | Human Rights Campaign

Today, Senators Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY), Susan Collins (R-ME), John McCain (R-AZ), and Jack Reed (D-RI) announced the introduction of legislation to protect currently-serving transgender service members from being discharged. The bipartisan legislation is based on an amendment to National Defense Authorization Act introduced by Senators Gillibrand and Collins that was blocked yesterday by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) despite likely majority, bipartisan support in the chamber.

Friday September 15, 2017 - Gender Voice test

Cut/Paste this .wav file into the above web site to see results. Give the site a few seconds to analyze the file.

This web site will test your voice and determine its gender based on:

Voice Tips and Tricks
- Pitch, combined with intonation (the rise and fall of the voice in speaking), are important factors in classifying male versus female.
- Male classified voices tend to be low and within a narrow range of pitch (ie., relatively monotone).
- Female classified voices tend to be higher in pitch and fluctuate frequency to a much greater degree.
- Female classified voices often rise in frequency at the end of a sentence, as if asking a question.

How does it work?

This application uses a method of artificial intelligence, called machine learning, to determine the gender of a voice.

The program was trained on a dataset of 3,168 voice samples, split between male and female voices. By analyzing the acoustic properties of the voices, the program is able to achieve 89% accuracy on the test set.

Thursday September 14, 2017 - 15 month HRT results

Below are my current measurements and the change since last month. The picture is followed by an explanation and then a table showing the monthly changes since I began HRT,  on June 10, 2016.

The above chart shows my current measurements and the changes over last month.

Only two areas had a slight change, above my breast and from my belly button down.  My belly area, above my breast and my hips grew, which is good. My thighs were slightly smaller.

The growth in the above the breast area could be reflective of a filling out and slight change in shape. his could be one of the reasons why I felt I looked more feminine and still do, the other day.

Some of these measurement changes could be due to poor consistency when measuring. However the longer term trends which show in the table below are consistent.

Wednesday September 13, 2017 - This past Sunday was the start of Month 16 of HRT. I forgot!

I just remembered that this past Sunday, was the start of my 16th month of HRT. I did not even publish a post because I was so tuned in to the Irma storm.

I just got power back at my house today. I lost power on Monday around noon. Yesterday, I moved into my brother's spare room because I needed power to work.

This morning, I felt physically different. It's hard to describe, but my body seemed more feminine. The shape and internal feel seemed to have advanced. My breasts and hips seemed bigger than my torso and waist area.

I do not have my measuring tape, but when I get home later today, I need to complete my monthly measurement.

It's interesting how my HRT is becoming part of my normal routine. I use to look forward to my monthly milestones. This is the first time, I did not remember. Part of that was due to the excitement of Storm Irma. But I should have remembered before today.

I will get my  Month 15 measurement chart up in the next day or two.

Friday September 8, 2017 - Cooler weather

The weather is getting cooler. So I put on my green sweater top for the day. I was surprised at the difference of how it looks and fits.

It still fits but the look is more feminine. During my femboy days in 2015, I use to wear this top out during the fall and early spring.

Below is a before picture (3 months before HRT) and a now picture (15 months after HRT).

And the cleavage looks great.

I am very happy and satisfied with my results. However, I can tell that new wardrobes will be needed.

Friday September 8, 2017 - People headed to Atlanta to escape Irma. Irma expected to follow.

People are pouring into Atlanta from Florida. I talked to a Mattress store manager yesterday and they are selling mattresses to people who will be housing guests this weekend.

Look at the current (Friday 10:30 am) Highway traffic from Google maps.

Current traffic is from Orlando north past Valdosta. Then from north of Macon, thru Atlanta and into north Cobb County. There are no hotel rooms left in Atlanta. So I bet people are headed north to find hotels.

Also on the coast, people are headed up the coast and northwest to Columbia, SC.

Below is the typical Friday traffic at 10:30 am.

Thursday September 7, 2017 - Presenting female today.

Today, I felt like presenting female. I was feeling pretty today, so I dressed in a cute grey leopard top with grey skinny jeans and a grey/black pair of ballerina style shoes.

My nail glue was dried out, so I could not put on any earrings. Then I went back into my old jewelry and added a pair of greyish blue clip-ons.

Wednesday September 6, 2017 - Transwoman enrolling in woman only college

As a former College Professor of the "brother" school of Spelman College, this is very good news.

Transgender students find open door at more women's colleges

WELLESLEY, Mass. (AP) - Until last year, Ninotska Love would have been barred from attending Wellesley College. She's an accomplished student who has persevered through hardship, but under longstanding rules, the college would have rejected her because she was assigned at birth as a boy. Now the rules have changed.

Tuesday September 5, 2017 - Bra cup sizes

Yesterday, I decided to go bra shopping at a few local thrift stores. I was not successful because of limited supply. Girl, there were so many shoppers in the stores this weekend.

Meanwhile, this may seem obvious but I continued playing around with my bras. Last week, I learned about using the bra straps.

Yesterday, I noticed the important of the width of the bra cup and not just the depth of the cup. I always thought that as the cup size increased, the cup's depth got bigger to handle the increased breast size.

But I noticed that the cup width is important to me for a good fit. I think it depends on each person, whether, the depth is more than the width. Even though the bra band remains the same.

I have significantly increased my bra cup size over the past 15 months.

So I went back and put on a few 36C bras and noticed that the smaller width of the cups created an opening gap between the bra band and my skin at the edges of the cups. The smaller cups can not cover me and causes the bar band to fits off my skin.

Its hard for me to find 36D cup bras at the thrift store. But I need to find bras that have a wider cup or a cup that provides more coverage on the outer edge. This will keep the bra band down against my body. Below is one of my two 36D bras. The cups are much wider and provides me both coverage and much better support.

I am wondering if I can find a 36C bra that have a wider cup and use the bra straps to keep from overflowing the top (muffin top). I am going to shop and see if I can find a few to try on.

Sunday September 3, 2017 - Feeling happy at 61

I am in a reflective mood, this morning. I am in a happy mood as I like my mental and physical self. The HRT is working well for me.

Life is not perfect and I have some major issues to resolve. But overall, I really like where I am.

Some days I get up and my breasts feel so heavy and they hurt. Other days, like today, I just feel them and they are now "in the way" as I type. I love how I look I either in boy or girl mode. I feel whole and comfortable.

I only shave, about once a week, both my head and face, to get ride of a few stray hairs.I have not shaved my body in months. I use to shave my body once a week.

Mentally, I have no more gender dysphoria. So I spend more time dealing with family and friend about my look. People who have not seen me in a long time, notice a difference, but do not know why. Most tell me I just look younger and "keep doing what I am doing", because its working.

I think about 50 years ago, in 1967, when as a 11 year boy, I was sneaking into my mother's closet and wearing her shoes and putting on a bra, griddle and stockings. Wow, I would love to tell him that 50 years later, it would be OK.

Friday September 1, 2017 - Transgender Students Face Higher Rates of Substance Abuse

Transgender students face higher rates of substance abuse, study finds

Transgender adolescents have higher rates of illicit and prescription drug use when compared to non-transgender adolescents, according to a new study. The study, published in the Journal of School Health, found transgender students were 2.5 times more likely than non-transgender students to use cocaine and methamphetamines in their lifetime and twice as likely to report the misuse of prescription pain medication.
